  I'll be honest, McDonald's isn't my first choice for fast food dining. I was coming through town for work, at an hour when other restaurants were closed, and this was the choice for a quick meal. I was with a friend of mine, I ordered a combo meal, he ordered breakfast. Until this visit, I had never waited over 5 minutes or so for food from any McDonald's, but this night, after 20 minutes I finally asked the manager if our food was ready. It appeared there were only 4 people working, I wasn't expecting any speed records in receiving our order, but it wound up taking nearly a half hour. Inexcusable. My fries were cold, and the hash browns that came with my buddy's breakfast were literally dripping grease. The paper sleeve the hash browns come in had a quarter inch of orange grease in the bottom. Neither of us wanted to complain because we were in a rush to get back on the road. The sandwiches were good, though. The self serve soda area was wet with garbage all over it, both ketchup stations were empty.
  
  Normally, McDonald's is a quick, sure-fire fast food meal. You always know what you'll get. This one though...yikes. Too slow, sub par food, and not a clean restaurant. Steer clear.

  RUN! Do not stop here. If you must get McDonald's either continue driving to Rockford or Oregon. The service is slow in drive thru and in the lobby. 2 nights ago they could not keep up with the drive thru orders and lobby orders so they CLOSED THE LOBBY. This was at 5 pm! Really?....It would have taken 30 minutes to get through the drive through. They don't apologize when mistakes are made. They also either plan for their coffee machines to be cleaned at really inconvenient times (6Am) or just wait for them to break. Avoid at all costs. I hope this place closes or they hire a whole new crew that has experience in working in fast paced environments because there is nothing fast about this place.
